MCF History

With more than 60 years in business, Massey, Clark, Fischer has deep roots in Palm Beach County and a far reach, having proudly served the needs of businesses and individuals throughout the State of Florida.

Harry Massey founded Massey Insurance and he started his insurance office in West Palm Beach, Florida. He represented several life insurance companies including National Life of Vermont. He was later appointed as the General Agent for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Franck Massey joined his brother in the business.

Hank Massey, Harry’s son, joined his father and uncle in the business, while also working to get his B.S. in Business Administration, with a major in Insurance, from the University of Florida.

Massey Insurance expanded from Life Insurance-only into the Property & Casualty Insurance business when they purchased the Property & Casualty Insurance arm of Stockton, Whatley, and Davin.

Mike Massey, Harry’s other son, joined the family business.

Leslie Massey, Harry’s daughter, joined the Agency and worked with her family until 1992. Sally Massey, the family’s matriarch, worked at the Agency throughout her lifetime as well.

A long-held dream was realized when Massey Insurance merged with another established, local insurance Agency - Clark, Oen, Johnson & Fischer, Inc. Harry and William Clark, longtime friends, neighbors and professional colleagues, had always discussed the idea of going into business together. When they did, the full-service Agency of Massey, Clark, Fischer, Inc. was formed - built on a foundation of professionals with more than 100 years of cumulative insurance experience.

Hank became President, and to this day he heads the Agency with the team he has established, including one of his daughters, Erin.
